Professor Sharon Jorski

Professor Sharon Jorski, received an M.L.Sc. in Library Science and B.A. in History from the University of Oklahoma. She teaches research and information literacy skills and has experience in medical, aviation, and engineering librarianship. Sharon has held several elected offices and chaired numerous committees of national, regional, state, and local library associations. When she is away from school, Sharon is involved in Boy Scouts where she trains adult leaders and organizes new Cub Scout Packs. Sharon is passionate about curling and is a founding member of the Oklahoma Curling Club where she serves on the Board of Directors and regularly competes with her rink. As a certified instructor, Sharon enjoys introducing the Olympic Sport of Curling to those living in a climate not associated with a winter sport played on ice.
