Faculty William D. Underwood, Ph.D., University of Tulsa
This broad-based introduction to engineering is an overview of engineering. We will define the goals, learn the principles, examining the tools used, and discuss the variety of engineering fields available. Laboratory time will be spent on a series of hands-on engineering exercises. Students will design a useful object of their choice and write a brief report on it instead of a final exam.
All engineering courses may be used to fulfil the science elective requirement for graduation. They may not be offered every semester.
