High School Student (9th and 10th grades in fall) Summer Science Workshops

Held in June, The OSSM One-Day Science workshops introduce students to various science and engineering careers.

Typically, the medical careers workshop introduces participants to various medical professions. Professionals and hands-on activities highlight the workshop.

Additionally, an engineering workshop explores engineering careers and provides laboratory demonstrations from local professional engineers and college professors.

The workshop is for students entering 9th or 10th grades next fall. There is no registration cost, and all supplies are provided. Lunch is also provided at no cost. Students with food allergies or a special diet should bring a sack lunch. Registration is limited to 50 students.

Finally, The OSSM Science in the Summer Lab Day encourages hands-on participation and exploration of common techniques and practices in a typical laboratory.
