It’s been a full and exciting summer so far at the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics. In June, OSSM welcomed both middle school students and teachers from across the state for hands-on workshops and professional development sessions. Educators deepened their math and science knowledge, while students explored STEM through engaging activities.
Additionally, 21 rising OSSM seniors are living on campus while participating in the Investigative Research Scholars Program (IRSP). This important component of an OSSM education allows participants to conduct hands-on research alongside professional mentors during the intensive three-week experience.
Looking ahead, the OSSM Summer Academies for high school students begin in July. These residential camps offer immersive courses and labs for students eager to challenge themselves in advanced STEM topics. Learn more and/or register for the Academies here.
At OSSM, summer is a still season of exploration, learning, and growth.
