Middle School Teachers Explore New Ideas at OSSM Summer Institutes

This week, OSSM welcomed middle school educators from across the state for our annual OSSM Institutes—professional development workshops designed to support and inspire teachers of science and mathematics.

Participants spent time deepening their content knowledge, exchanging classroom strategies, and engaging with OSSM faculty on ways to bring advanced concepts to younger students. The program is part of OSSM’s ongoing commitment to strengthen STEM education at all levels in Oklahoma.

The institutes wrap up on Friday, June 6, but the energy, insight, and connections built this week will carry forward into the coming school year.
