Four OSSM students have been named candidates for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, one of the nation’s highest honors for high school seniors.
The students are Aarush Abrol of Edmond, Melody Chen of Norman, William Moore of Oklahoma City, and Ahmed Rahman of Oklahoma City. They were selected based on their academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
“These students exemplify the academic excellence, intellectual curiosity, and dedication that define OSSM,” said Tony Cornforth, president of OSSM. “We are proud to see their hard work recognized at the national level.”
Established in 1964, the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program recognizes some of the nation’s most accomplished graduating seniors. Candidates are selected through a competitive process that considers academic success, leadership, service, and character. Final scholars will be announced later this year.
