Students currently in 10th grade have the opportunity to spend the day with one of our current juniors to see what a day in the life of an OSSM student is really like! They will attend class during the day, eat lunch, see the dorm, and partake in an optional tour at the end of day.
The Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics is located on a 32-acre campus in Oklahoma City, students live in the Dan Little Residence Hall.
Our goal is to provide Oklahoma’s high school students with opportunity to take advance science and mathematics courses, and therefore enhancing their academic background by offering courses that aren’t currently available through their high school.
The OSSM Summer Academy is a week-long academic summer camp. Students will take exciting, interactive classes with OSSM’S nationally-renowned faculty. Evenings will be filled with fun activities led by camp counselors who are recent OSSM alumni.
Additionally OSSM offers no cost one-day Middle School Mathematics Workshops, one-day Science Workshops for 9th and 10th graders, a Health Care and Medical Careers Workshop, and the one-day Science in the Summer – Lab Day Workshop.
Our college counselor works individually with each student to help them identify the right colleges and universities to apply to, and will help the student successfully negotiate their journey through the college and scholarship processes.
