Sophisticated instrumentation requires in-depth training, which is exactly what Dr. Rahman received this week. Earlier, OSSM purchased a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer for student use in its chemistry classes. This important tool enables students to identify different substances in test samples and is widely used in forensics, fire investigation, food safety, environmental analysis, and petrochemicals, among others.

OSSM students and faculty appreciate the generous funding of OSSM foundation and its donor members for this state-of-the-art instrument.
