DESCRIPTION:Ramp-Up Experience 2019\nEvery year we select a group of students to participate in the Ramp-Up Experience at OSSM. These students have been selected to participate in this year’s A Math Skill Enhancement Program. The purpose of the program is to enhance your mathematics skills before the fall semester begins on Monday, August 12th. The OSSM Ramp-Up Program was developed to provide new OSSM students from across Oklahoma the pre-requisite knowledge and skills required to succeed in Calculus and Calculus-based Physics by providing an intensive review of algebra, trigonometry, and pre-calculus. The program is fundamentally an “academic boot-camp” which prepare students for the rigors of OSSM.\nThe program will occur July 10-12. Students will arrive and move-in on Tuesday, July 9th after 6pm.\nStudents will stay in the residence hall and have meals in the Great Hall with their classmates. The program will conclude on Friday, July 12th allowing Ramp-Up students the opportunity to attend the Grill ‘N Chill at noon.\nThere is no cost to participate. All costs have been covered by the OSSM Foundation.\nThe purpose of the program is to enhance your mathematics skills before the fall semester begins on Monday, August 12th.
