OSSM Summer 2008 Workshop Announcements

The Eleventh Annual ConocoPhillips Summer Science Institute

Come and join us for a five-day learning experience, full of fun and excitement at the OSSM campus in Oklahoma City. ConocoPhillips Inc. and the Oklahoma School of Science & Mathematics sponsor the ConocoPhillips Summer Science Institute for the 11th consecutive year. The Institute is aimed at providing science teachers at the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade levels with knowledge and hands-on experience in Earth/Space, Life and Physical Sciences. Teachers can enhance their science background while being offered new opportunities to transfer knowledge and skills to classroom instruction.

    Applicants can apply by:
    • emailing their completed registration information to sbrother@ossm.edu, or 
    • faxing the registration form to Ms. Sena Brothers (405-521-6442), or

  • The deadline to receive your registration form by email or fax is Monday April 28. Mailed applications should be postmarked by Monday April 28.


Hille Foundation Summer Math Institute for Middle School Math Teachers

The Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics is hosting another Summer Math Institute for middle school math teachers.  The purpose of the Institute is to offer you the opportunity to enhance your knowledge of mathematics and to advance your instructional skill.  OSSM faculty and distinguished guests will conduct the Institute.
