Not every assignment at OSSM will be graded.  Do not think that means you do not need to do them.  The assignments are given as a minimum amount of work you need to do for a class.

You should try to do more than is assigned for every class.

You cannot learn math or physics or chemistry or … by watching someone else do it.  You must do it yourself

If you work in a group, the person who understands best will end up doing all the work and you will not learn how to do it yourself.

If you are having trouble understanding the assignment, go talk to the instructor.

While your classmates may understand more than you do, the instructor can explain it much better and in more detail than other students.

Learn from your mistakes.  When you get a graded assignment or test back, rework or rewrite anything you lost credit on.  If you do not understand what is wrong, ask the instructor.
